Sen. Barrasso: Senate GOP Focused on Herschel Walker Election

The Senate leadership elections proceeded without the winner of the Georgia runoff race being present to vote because GOP lawmakers decided to get the matter behind them so they could focus on getting Herschel Walker elected to replace Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock in January, Sen. John Barrasso said Sunday.

"The good news is that the Republicans have taken the House of Representatives," the Wyoming Republican said on Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures." "We have derailed this runaway freight train of the Democrats' reckless spending. We will now be able to hold this administration accountable and focus on the spending, and our focus is all on getting Herschel Walker elected."
