The America I deeply cherish is appropriately celebrated as an enormously diverse and blessedly enriched and celebrated "melting pot" multi-culture Founded upon the constitutional precepts of equal opportunity and justice for all.
That America, above all, is a transcendent defining national culture of shared, yet also mutually respectful individual freedoms, values, heritage backgrounds and ethnicities irrespective of skin color, gender, or economic status.
I will forego all the typical obligatory disclaimers that our nation isn’t perfect, either now or in the past.
We all recognize this.
