U.S. elites are enabling China's slavery and destruction

OPINION:
As we wander toward the start of the genocide Olympics on Feb. 4, it might be worth thinking about what the business and political elites in the U.S. have done and are doing to enable the Chinese Communist Party and its regime of slavery, genocide and destruction.
Fortunately, the last 10 days or so have provided some prime examples.
Just last week, the Biden administration canceled mineral leases in northern Minnesota that are essential to the development of mines that hold the copper, nickel, cobalt and other elements that are crucial to our daily life and essential to the development of electric vehicles and batteries. Right now, Communist China owns or controls about 80% of the critical minerals needed to make those vehicles and batteries.

Trump, supporters take victory lap after Pennsylvania court decision on mail-in voting

Former President Donald Trump and his allies say they are vindicated after a Pennsylvania court struck down the state’s no-excuse mail-in voting law enacted before the November 2020 presidential election.
The court decision aligns with pushback from GOP challengers who say wide-spread mail-in voting caused unprecedented chaos and tipped the scales in favor of President Biden in the state in 2020.
“All American Patriots are thanking the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania for having the courage to do the right thing,” Mr. Trump said in a statement.

Looking to win big in November, the GOP is seeking advice from "the grandfather of House Republicans," who swept it back into power nearly three decades ago after a 40-year drought. Never shy about sharing ideas, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich is more than happy to help.
Gingrich told Insider that "the total failure of the left is driving people our way in a very encouraging way." If that shift continues, the veteran culture warrior predicted 2022 could be "the most catastrophic election for Democrats since 1920," when Republicans won their largest number of seats ever.
As Gingrich sees it, Republicans have a two-part obligation as they fight to regain control.
"One is to communicate that big government socialism doesn't work and can't," he told Insider. "And the other is to communicate what we would do."

The first year of the Biden presidency brought record levels of illegal immigration into the United States, with numbers topping two million. The influx isn't an overwhelming situation that the federal government and, more specifically, President Joe Biden can't control. Instead, the crisis at the southern border has been fully embraced and deliberately made worse. For months, Americans have watched millions of people pour into the country as a result of President Biden's open border policies. The "Biden-Harris" t-shirts gave a big clue about why people made the journey. Now, we have solid evidence the administration is breaking U.S. immigration laws and helping human smugglers deliver their products to final destinations.

I have never been more proud of my Canadian roots than during the last few days as I have tracked the “Anti-Vaccine-Mandate” trucker convoy making its way across Canada to its final destination of the national capital of Ottawa to scream out as one against the dictatorial edicts of the entrenched-establishment elites who “lead” the country.
I say that as one who has never been more ashamed of my American and Canadian roots as I have been these past two years while watching tens of millions of hard working and decent citizens instantly roll-over in blind obedience to power-crazed politicians, unelected bureaucrats, and alleged “experts” who systematically locked them down; destroyed their business; isolated and force-masked their children; brutally smeared and even destroyed the livelihoods of any doctor and scientist who dared to question the continually-changing government policies, any possibility of harmful vaccine side-effects, or suggested focused-protection for those most vulnerable; or exponentially raised the death toll via drug and alcohol overdoses, suicides, or patients who missed desperately needed treatments and screenings.

Ben Carson Hits 'Leftist Corporate Media' Over Lockdowns

Former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson on Friday ripped the "leftist corporate media" for education difficulties caused by lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic in an opinion piece published by The Federalist.
"Politico and other outlets have reported on the 'disaster' of learning loss resulting from pandemic school closures," Carson wrote. "Unfortunately, this learning loss is concentrated in minority communities that could least afford to suffer these consequences — as I, my rocket-scientist brother, and countless others can attest, education is the key to escaping poverty."
He went on to say that he and others "knew early on that online learning is not as effective as learning in the classroom. We knew children would disappear from the school system if we went virtual, particularly in minority and underserved communities. We knew that mask mandates, quarantines, and mandatory social distancing would be harmful. Now we have more data proving all of this to be true."

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called for President Joe Biden to pick a Supreme Court justice who will be "faithful to the law and Constitution."
DeSantis made his comments on Friday during a press conference, according to Florida Politics.
"When you’re dealing with picks for the Supreme Court, you want people who are going to be faithful to the law and the Constitution, and understand how our constitutional system was designed to have separate powers," he said.
