Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent never disappoints when he makes a Sunday show appearance. That held true Sunday morning as he joined Kristen Welker on NBC News' Meet the Press.
Whether the topic was Greenland or the Fed, Bessent was well prepared to address the questions Welker raised.
Right out of the gate, Welker zeroed in on Greenland, noting that both Denmark and Greenland insist it's not for sale, and asking: "What makes President Trump think it is?" Bessent emphasized its strategic value.
