Netanyahu Government Votes To Fire Prosecutor Overseeing His Corruption Trial

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government voted unanimously Monday to oust the attorney general investigating him for corruption. 

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara is pursuing multiple cases against Netanyahu, including charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust, according to Axios. She is also probing Netanyahu’s inner circle over alleged ties to Qatar. (RELATED: ‘Those Children Look Very Hungry’: Trump Directly Contradicts Netanyahu On Starvation In Gaza) 

Israel’s Supreme Court issued an injunction freezing the cabinet vote’s dismissal moments thereafter, the outlet reported.
