Qantas flight QF6032 from Wuhan lands in Western Australia

The plane used to evacuate more than 200 Australians out of the hub of the deadly coronavirus has landed, but their trip isn’t over yet.

The Qantas flight carrying more than 200 Australian citizens and residents from the coronavirus struck city of Wuhan has landed in Western Australia.

The flight, with 243 Australian citizens and permanent residents, touched down just after 4pm local time into the RAAF Base in Learmonth.

The evacuees — of which 89 are kids — will now have their health checked at the defence base before being ferried to Christmas Island to be quarantined for 14 days.
