Opinion: Listen to bookies, not polls: Trump has a good chance to be re-elected

At this point in the election cycle, polls are worthless
Bookies are giving President Trump odds of around 50% of being re-elected.

Some advice: Don’t pay attention to polls.
They say President Trump would lose to Bernie Sanders nationwide in a presidential election by 9 percentage points? Or to Joe Biden by 13? Or that even Georgia is in play next year?
Or that Trump would lose to “Mayor Pete” Buttigieg by 5 points nationwide? Or that he would even lose Florida to Beto O’Rourke? (See above.)
Those are the preposterous claims made by a batch of opinion polls reported breathlessly this week. No wonder Trump calls the polls “weird” and “fake.” In one sense, at least, he’s right.
