A Huge Thanks to Elon Musk for What We Just Witnessed

There are a lot of people who deserve credit for this win. Donald Trump didn't get past 270 by himself. Just to name a few, Tucker Carlson, Scott Presler, Vivek Ramaswamy, Tulsi Gabbard, and even P'Nut the Squirrel probably helped to push people into voting for Trump, overwhelming the Democrats and leaving them shocked.
But standing out among even these great names is Elon Musk.
I've been accused of being an Elon fanboy, and I don't necessarily deny it, however it needs to be understood that I come by this appreciation of him honestly. The man is literally doing incredible things that are driving humanity forward. For instance, his work with SpaceX is, in my opinion, integral to literally saving the human species from a premature end by helping to make it a space-faring species.

But while he's rescuing the species, he was rescuing America.
One of the most consequential things to happen in this country in the modern age, and likely one of the most important factors in this election, is Musk's purchase of Twitter and its conversion into the platform we know and love today, "X."
To understand why this is so important, one has to realize how consequential the internet is when it comes to narrative generation. Before Musk's purchase, the Democrats and the media knew Twitter was, as Musk described it, the new town square. This is where the Western world gathered to discuss things, spread information, and give opinions.
The left saw how important it was and put its finger on every scale it could in order to make sure every narrative, every conversation, and every report benefited the leftist agenda, and it worked for them beautifully. They were able to bend people's thoughts to their will with ease. Entire movements, such as Black Lives Matter, gained strength and maintained power thanks to Twitter, and its owners manipulating trending topics and shadowbanning dissenters behind the scenes.
Thanks to the "Twitter Files," we now know that the site bent to the will of the Democrat Party, and carried its narratives, but also that of pharmaceutical companies during the pandemic, making it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to openly discuss the vaccines or the true effect of the virus they were trying to scare so many people about.
Then, Musk pried Twitter out of the hands of these societal abusers and remade the platform into a haven of free speech. With information now freely distributed, the left had a much harder time bending the societal narrative about any given thing to their whim. Where a lie could thrive before, the truth took it down almost just as quickly as the lie was created.
