BREAKING: Texas Governor Greg Abbott Takes Bold Action to Combat the 'Invasion' at the Border

Gov. Greg Abbott, fresh off a resounding reelection win last week over perennial also-ran Beto O’Rourke, has made a bold move in combatting the ongoing crisis at the southern border: He’s invoking clauses in the U.S. and Texas constitutions to defend Texas against “an invasion.”
I invoked the Invasion Clauses of the U.S. & Texas Constitutions to fully authorize Texas to take unprecedented measures to defend our state against an invasion.

This comes after Friday’s resignation of Chris Magnus, President Biden’s commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
