The routine from many on the left that former President Donald Trump -- heck, every Republican presidential candidate -- is somehow "Hitler" is absurd performance outrage. And speaking of absurd performance outrage, that leads me to actor Robert De Niro. He did that Trump Derangement thing again, this time on "MSNBC’s "11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle," prompted by her questions.

X owner Elon Musk sprang to the defense of Trump and gave De Niro a schooling. He made a very basic point: we already know what it's like to have Trump as president.____________
Well, Trump was actually already president for 4 years and his policies bore no resemblance to those of Hitler, so this makes no sense.
In fact, with the Abraham Accords, he made some progress towards peace in the Middle East, which was definitely not high on Hitler’s agenda.
