‘He Must Go’: GOP Rep Files Articles Of Impeachment Against Mayorkas

Republican Texas Rep. Pat Fallon introduced articles of impeachment against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, accusing the high-ranking Biden appointee of failing to address the crisis on the southern border.

Fallon filed the resolution on Jan. 3, the first day of the 118th Congress, but due to the drawn-out speakership race, the resolution did not go through until Monday night. Fallon said Mayorkas has “abdicated his duties” as head of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and that he must be removed from his position. (RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: Sens.
