OPINION:
Have you noticed that nobody on the left ever—ever— seems to pay a penalty for criminality and even treason?
“What will it take?” you might ask.
Exhibit A: When Joe Biden was vice president, he boasted on Jan. 23, 2018, before a Council on Foreign Relations audience that he had told the president of Ukraine in March 2016 to fire a prosecutor — or lose $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.
Viktor Shokin, the prosecutor general, was investigating Burisma, the energy company that had given Mr. Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, a plum job on its board. The elder Biden recounted his discussion with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and an aide:
“I said, ‘You’re not getting the billion.’ … I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money. … Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”
The room erupted in laughter. I viewed the video several times. It’s real. You can access the audio on YouTube.
Nothing ever happened to Mr. Biden, whose family was also getting rich from deals with communist China. As a matter of fact, he became president three years later, with a stunningly implausible 81 million votes.
Fast forward to July 25, 2019. President Trump had a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who was seeking more U.S. aid. At the end of the call, Mr. Trump asked Mr. Zelenskyy to look into well-founded allegations involving the Bidens.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard is stepping down as director of national intelligence at the end of June, but the radical left had better be afraid of what will happen in her final weeks.
As PJ Media previously reported, Gabbard announced her resignation after her husband, Abraham, was diagnosed with what she described as "an extremely rare form of bone cancer." She said she must "step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle."

Before she leaves, she plans to release investigative findings in weekly installments over the next month. The topics on the docket are not small: Havana Syndrome, the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, the government’s weaponization of intelligence agencies, and the 2020 presidential election. If Democrats thought they could breathe a sigh of relief with her gone, they were sorely mistaken. Each of these has been a political flashpoint for years, and Gabbard is positioning her office to put official findings on the record while she still has the authority to do it.

Despite countless of President Donald Trump’s so-called allies defecting to criticize the administration for coming to a deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran, Secretary of State Marco Rubio has set the record straight on who is actually coming out on top.

“The idea that somehow this president, given everything that he’s already proven that he’s willing to do, is gonna somehow agree to a deal that ultimately winds up putting position when it comes to nuclear ambitions is absurd,” Rubio said at a press conference during his trip to India. “That’s just not gonna happen, but our preference is to address this through a diplomatic means and that’s what we’re endeavoring to do here.”
Rubio further expressed that it has long been Trump’s preference to find global, America First solutions through diplomatic means rather than unnecessarily put American troops in harm's way to achieve the same goals. “The problem is going to be solved one way or the other,” Rubio stated.

Trump Again Touts Paxton Before Texas Showdown

Days after officially endorsing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in the GOP Senate runoff, President Donald Trump on Sunday renewed his push for Texas Republicans to back Paxton ahead of Tuesday's closely watched runoff election against incumbent Sen. John Cornyn.
In a lengthy Truth Social post, Trump praised Paxton's tenure as attorney general, highlighted his loyalty during the president's legal battles, and sharply criticized Cornyn over election integrity and immigration issues.
"TEXAS, REMEMBER! Ken Paxton was a GREAT Attorney General, probably the best in the Country," Trump wrote. "He was also very loyal to your favorite President, ME, as the Dumocrats played their ultimate game of Weaponization, and failed, BADLY!"
Trump also touted his own electoral success in Texas while accusing Cornyn of failing to support key conservative priorities.
"Ken's opponent was VERY disloyal to me, as President, and didn't fight hard enough for the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT – VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS," Trump wrote, before urging voters to support Paxton on Tuesday.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., on Sunday defended President Donald Trump's tentative agreement with Iran, brushing aside a sharp Republican backlash over a framework that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and extend a fragile ceasefire by 60 days, but leaves Tehran's nuclear program for later talks.
Iranian officials have publicly disputed pieces of the emerging deal, and conservative critics in the Senate warned the terms could entrench the Islamic Republic and shift the Gulf's balance of power.
Speaking from the sidelines of the Indianapolis 500 on "Fox & Friends Weekend," Johnson said he had spoken with Trump on Saturday night and described the president as "resolute as he's been from the beginning."

WASHINGTON — The White House vowed “no dust, no dollars” for Iran on Sunday — asserting that unless the Islamic Republic gives up its enriched uranium, it will get no sanctions relief — as President Trump tapped the brakes on forecasting a peace deal that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
A looming memorandum of understanding announced Saturday by Trump would reopen the Strait of Hormuz while allowing another 30 days for nuclear talks.
The plan unleashed panic among some Republicans and Israel backers — prompting Trump officials to clarify that no deal was imminent, and that it would take at least five to seven days to finalize any agreement.

Elderly Man Left In Hospital Over US And Trump-Themed Decorations At Home, Wife Says

An assailant attacked an elderly man Wednesday afternoon outside his California home over a pro-U.S. and Trump-themed political display, his wife alleged.
Kerry Sheron was allegedly attacked shortly after 2 p.m. in Escondido, according to CBS 8. The Escondido Police Department (EPD) responded and discovered him seriously hurt and lying in the street. Sheron was hospitalized in critical condition as of Thursday, according to NBC San Diego. Maria Garcia, Sheron’s wife, said she suspects the attack may have been prompted by the political display outside her and her husband’s home, CBS 8 reported.
“They don’t like the flags. I don’t know why. I support America. My husband is [a] veteran,” Garcia said.
Footage uploaded March 3 on Sheron’s Facebook account shows U.S. flags and pro-President Donald Trump banners along the fence. The EPD is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the alleged attack.
Thomas Caleb Butler, 32, has been arrested in connection with the incident, according to an EPD press release. Butler allegedly attacked Sheron and then fled. Garcia said Butler and her husband do not know each other. Butler has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, police said.
An unidentified bystander who tried to offer help during the alleged attack was also hurt. The bystander told NBC San Diego that Sheron was standing in the front yard when the assailant allegedly approached him and attacked him. A suspect who fired gunshots near the White House on Saturday evening was killed by Secret Service agents, the agency said in a statement.
“Shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday an individual in the area of 17th street and Pennsylvania Avenue pulled a weapon from his bag and began firing,” the Secret Service wrote on X.
The individual, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
The Secret Service said a bystander was also struck by gunfire, but didn’t specify by whom. This person’s condition is unknown.

The U.S. secretary of state will meet foreign ministers from Japan, Australia, and India at a Quad meeting in New Delhi on May 26, the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.
The Quad, composed of four Indo–Pacific democracies, is a diplomatic grouping that works together on security, economic cooperation, and other regional issues.
Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi will travel to India for three days from May 25 to attend the gathering, according to the ministry’s announcement on Friday.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to fly to India on Saturday after a NATO foreign ministers’ meeting in Sweden, the State Department confirmed.
