Rep. Biggs to Newsmax: No Need to Prove Direct Benefit to Biden
By Jim Thomas | Saturday, 30 September 2023 11:55 AM EDT
There is no need to legally prove President Joe Biden received benefits in his bribery case, says Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz.
"I think it's important to understand that one of the things that we learned is that for the legal ramifications of bribery, the court cases, the law itself does not require that Joe Biden actually receive the specific benefit," Biggs told Newsmax on Saturday,
It's "not like where you see someone sliding an envelope of cash," he said.
"If this family is receiving benefits because they're selling access to Joe Biden, I think that's what we learned that's really the same legal significance that qualifies as a crime, and thus if you qualify [it] under a crime, that's a felony."

Rep. Murphy to Newsmax: Full Circle of Biden Influence Peddling
By Jim Thomas | Saturday, 30 September 2023 01:21 PM EDT
Because then-Vice President Joe Biden had "no intention of running for president," he engaged in a "full circle of influence peddling," Rep. Greg Murphy, R-N.C., told Newsmax Saturday.
"It is very clear there is a circle — an absolute circle, not half circle, a full circle — of influence peddling by the [then] vice president of the United States," said Murphy, a member of the House Ways and Means Committe, in an appearance on Newsmax's "America Right Now."
"I think what is failing to be presented here is that Biden, in his last couple of years as vice president, had no intention of running for president. So what he's doing [is] he's influence peddling. [He] had no idea that this would come back to haunt him," Murphy said.
"But the fact that Burisma was being investigated by a prosecutor, the fact that then they hired Hunter [Biden], who had no experience doing anything or what they had, and then soon thereafter, [Joe] Biden is then pressuring Ukraine. He literally says, 'You don't get a billion in assets unless you fire this guy.'

Trump Does Brutal Spot-on Imitation of Biden Getting Lost on Stage

Forner President Donald Trump spoke to the California GOP Convention on Friday.
Trump chastised the Democrats, saying they brought the state homelessness, open borders, high taxes, inequality, “woke tech tyrants,” and rising crime, but that "help was on the way. "
He verbally drew a sharp contrast between himself and the current occupant of the White House, Joe Biden, questioning whether Biden was fit for the office. Trump also mimicked Biden's tendency to get lost on the stage and not know where he was going.

“Does anybody think he’s going to make it to the starting gate?” Trump asked the audience in Anaheim, receiving a resounding reply of “no!”
“I mean the guy can’t find his way off of a stage. Look, here’s a stage. Here’s a stage. I’ve never seen this stupid stage before. I’ve never seen it. But if I walk left there’s a stair and if I walk right there’s a stair,” he added.
Trump then started circling around, as Biden is wont to do, and, finally throwing his arms up, looking confused. “Where the hell am I?” Trump shouted, imitating Biden, as people laughed.
Trump is dead on accurate with that portrayal of Biden. And it's brutally funny.
But it's also sad because it's unfortunately so true. We've seen it countless times. And it's more than a little concerning that's the guy we have occupying the Oval Office at the moment.
One comment on the Trump video highlighted some of it, set to music.
Eminence front. It's a put on.

Getting lost getting off the stage is only the tip of it, as well. It's getting lost in the middle of a sentence. Biden is at a point where he can't even finish ideas sometimes and just gives up. He can't even conduct events without completely reading off notes or a teleprompter, and even then he can't get it right.
He can't even call world leaders by their proper titles and names, or deal with them in an appropriate manner.
It looked like he created a bit of an incident a little over a week ago when he almost knocked over a flag and blew off shaking hands with Brazil's Lula da Silva and just walked off the stage, as da Silva threw up his arm in seeming exasperation. Then that evening, at a campaign reception, Biden repeated the same story twice.
