Survey: 51 Percent of Likely US Voters Believe Biden Admin Encouraging Illegal Immigration

Fifty-one percent of likely U.S. voters believe that the Biden administration is encouraging illegal immigration, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey released Monday.

Border encounters with illegal immigrants climbed to 164,973 in February, up from about 154,000 in January but down from surges in November and December, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

A bigger surge is expected in spring and summer because of the Biden administration’s expected withdrawal of Title 42, a public health policy that allows the U.S. to expel immigrants under a public health emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
