Elon Dishes Details on Tucker Carlson Show Coming to Twitter

In a Twitter video on Tuesday, Tucker Carlson announced that a new version of his show and “some other things too” would be coming and would air on Twitter. There are a lot of exciting possibilities for what Carlson might be able to do within the Twitter format.
It also raised questions as to what Tucker’s status was with Fox News. As we had previously reported, he was involved in trying to get out of his contract with the cable network since they had a “parting of the ways” about two weeks ago and wouldn’t allow his show to run.
Carlson is also alleging that Fox has breached their contract with him which would invalidate the “non-compete clause” (that might prevent him from working with anyone else). Carlson’s attorneys allegedly accused Fox executives of making “material representations” to Carlson that were intentionally broken, constituting fraud, including promising not to leak his private communications to the media and not to use Carlson’s private messages “to take any adverse employment action against him.” So it sounds like Tucker is done fooling around with Fox and wants to be done with them already.
Now, Twitter head Elon Musk is talking about Tucker’s video and clarifying that there’s no greater deal signed with Tucker.
