Rep. McCaul: Biden's Weak Foreign Policy Invites Aggression

China's rising threat to the United States, including a call from its leader, Xi Jinping to make foreign nations dependent on its supply chains, is increasing because of the weakness being shown by President Joe Biden and his policies, Rep. Michael McCaul said Sunday.

"When you project weakness, this is what you get," the Texas Republican, who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Fox News's "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo. "So now, our foreign nation adversaries like Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea are emboldened and empowered."

McCaul pointed to the Department of Justice's China Initiative which involved the investigation of many cases of espionage. It also led to former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo shutting down China's consulate in Houston, which McCaul said was the right move.
