Shots were apparently fired at Donald Trump’s rally Saturday in Butler, PA. Although the scene is still chaotic and much is unknown, the president was immediately taken to the ground, and then the Secret Service rushed him to an SUV.

Despite the blood rushing down his face, the former president was defiant, pumping his fist in the air:

Immediately after he got back to his feet, his hair and clothes rumpled and an apparent injury to his ear, he appeared to yell defiantly to reassure the crowd. But the Secret Service whisked him away. Even as they shoved him into the SUV, though, the president stood and again pumped his fist toward the shocked audience.
