Enemies of America are smiling these days.

In some mysterious way we have empowered people who are willfully trying to steal our country, turn her into something she isn’t, and accuse those who say anything about it as the ones actually doing it.

Theft, Tyranny and an overdose of Gaslighting are all on display.

My thoughts are triggered to this because of the College Football playoff. The University of Michigan is the top ranked team in the nation. They are the top seed in the playoff. And their head coach if coming off a three game suspension for signal stealing.

But they still get to play, and he still gets to coach.

They flat out cheated, stealing the other team’s signals and they get to keep going.

In the 2024 elections the same thing is happening. Four rogue “judges” in Colorado, and one Secretary of State in Maine just all of the sudden decide to cripple the team they’re not on by randomly removing the frontrunner for the team they oppose from the ballot.

The 2024 calendar will be chock-full of national and statewide races alongside a contentious presidential election coinciding with Donald Trump’s slate of trials amid his run for another term.

Presidential candidates, House and Senate hopefuls, gubernatorial nominees and others will face off on Nov. 5 after a busy year of party primaries and special elections. Additionally, the former president faces four trials following 2023 indictments related to alleged election interference, classified documents and hush money payments as he challenges President Joe Biden for the White House. “Next year could be a crazy year! Trump vs Biden vs who knows how many third parties? Plus the two parties continuing to deal with realignment of their constituencies. Plus an electorate that’s probably more pissed than it was even in 2016,” Scott Jennings, a GOP strategist and veteran of numerous campaigns, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Could be a nutty cycle!”

Presidential Primaries

Trump remains the clear frontrunner in the GOP primary with a more than 50-point lead, followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 11.3%, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley at 11%, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy at 4%, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 3.3% and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson at 0.8%, according to the RealClearPolitics average.

The conservative Heritage Foundation is preparing to sue Maine’s Democratic Secretary of State Shenna Bellows in the wake of her decision to remove former President Donald Trump from the state’s ballot, the Daily Caller has learned.

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project will be filing a lawsuit against Bellows’ office as part of a broader investigation into efforts to have Trump removed from Republican primary ballots, Heritage Oversight Project Director Mike Howell told the Caller in a statement Friday. “It is beyond ugly that the radical left is once again reanimating Jim Crow politics. Seeing this trend across the country leads me to believe that Bellows is not acting alone, but instead as part of a potentially criminal conspiracy. We intend to gather evidence to potentially refer to law enforcement. We will be suing on behalf of all Americans very soon in furtherance of our investigation,” Howell said.

Democratic mayors are turning our once proud cities into “Freddy Krueger’s Playhouse.”

On Christmas Day, two teens from South America were stabbed as they had breakfast in New York’s Grand Central Terminal by a man shouting, “I want all the White people dead.”

The alleged assailant had 17 prior arrests. The last time he was in court, on Nov. 7, a judge put him back on the street.

Welcome to the hell of urban America.

Thanks to far-left mayors, blue cities are on a downward spiral of crime, drugs, homelessness and despair. Those with a survival instinct are getting out fast.

New York has lost 100,000 residents since 2022. The New York Times reports that 25,000 college graduates have left San Francisco since 2021. Apparently, they had a problem with human feces on the street where they lived.

San Francisco spends $1 billion annually on its street people. Democratic mayors keep shoveling money at the problem, which keeps getting worse. If they understood basic economics, they’d know that you get more of what you subsidize.

Democrats control big cities the way Hamas used to run Gaza. Of the 25 most populous U.S. cities, all but three are in the hands of Democrats. Boston and Chicago haven’t had a Republican mayor in almost 100 years.

Wishing Happy New Year to his political bounty hunters, former President Donald Trump refuted the New Year's Eve filings attempting to reject his claim to presidential immunity and efforts block him from the ballot under what he called the weaponization of the 14th Amendment.

"They had 3 years to file — now I get their rushed and bad papers on New Year's Eve," Trump wrote in a Truth Social post Sunday morning. "ELECTION INTERFERENCE!"

Trump's remarks come hours after special counsel Jack Smith filed arguments to reject Trump's claims to presidential immunity — where Trump argued contesting the 2020 presidential election came as his duty as president.

Just before news of Smith's filings were released Saturday, Trump mockingly wished "Crooked Joe Biden and his group of Radical Left Misfits & Thugs" a Happy New Year.

"As the New Year fast approaches, I would like to wish an early New Year's salutation to Crooked Joe Biden and his group of Radical Left Misfits & Thugs on their never ending attempt to DESTROY OUR NATION through Lawfare, Invasion, and Rigging Elections," Trump wrote on Truth Social on Saturday afternoon.

"They are now scrambling to sign up as many of those millions of people they are illegally allowing into our Country, in order that they will be ready to VOTE IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2024."

“It appears that members of Congress consistently beat the S&P 500 in their personal investment,” Carlson said, in which Belfort immediately mentioned Pelosi— who has faced criticism over her financial gains as her net worth has blown up to nearly nine figures since the 2008 economic collapse.

“So how does that… is Nancy Pelosi, do you think, a stock-picking genius?” Carlson asked.

“No, she has to be operating on information that’s non-public,” Belfort replied.

“The answer is very simple,” Belfort continued about buying stock in multiple big tech companies that offer the same product. “You buy them all in one investment, which is the S&P 500, and then you sit back and let time do the heavy lifting for you.”

George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley says he’s the latest victim of swatting, an action of fake calls for police response.

“Yes, I was swatted this evening. It is regrettably a manifestation of our age of rage,” Mr. Turley said in a statement obtained by the New York Post.

“However, we are grateful to the Fairfax police officers who were highly professional and supportive in responding to this harassment.”

Police arrived at Mr. Turley’s Fairfax residence Friday after an unknown person phoned in a 911 call falsely claiming a shooting occurred at the prominent legal scholar’s home.

The Fairfax County Police Department confirmed the call was a hoax.

The incident happened one day after Mr. Turley appeared on Fox News Digital and spoke about how the Commonwealth of Virginia is responding to the crime of swatting.

“Swatting constitutes a false police report that can be criminally charged,” Mr. Turley said. “Virginia recently passed a new law making swatting specifically a criminal misdemeanor. It can also be charged as a form of criminal threats.”

Swatting has been a trend in recent years in which a phone call or false report is made to an unsuspecting resident’s home, a school or other public place to trigger a police or SWAT team response.

A raft of lawmakers and state officials was swatted last week.

Shenna Bellows, Maine’s Secretary of State, is facing further criticism after she decided to remove former President Donald Trump from the ballot in an effort to influence the outcome of the 2024 presidential election. She has been under scrutiny since the decision was announced on Thursday.

Now, Bellows could be facing an impeachment effort.

State Rep. John Andrews, a Republican, announced that he has initiated impeachment proceedings against Bellows, accusing her of hyper-partisanship after she invoked the 14th Amendment to disqualify Trump from the ballot.


Andrews said in a statement that he filed a request with the Maine Revisor's Office saying he wanted "to file a Joint Order, or whichever is the proper parliamentary mechanism under Mason's Rules, to impeach Secretary of State Shenna Bellows."

"In Maine, the people do not elect the Secretary of State, Attorney General or Treasurer," Andrews told Fox News Digital. "They are chosen by elected Democrat Party insiders after deals are made in the back room of State House."

"Shenna Bellows knows that the process that put her there is extremely partisan," he continued. "She should know better and be going out of her way to be as neutral as possible to serve every citizen in Maine and not just registered Democrats."

"That’s why she swore an oath to the Constitution and not the Democrat Party," he added. "We are still a republic, but moves like this fracture that foundation, which ultimately is the point of all this."

Republicans say legal maneuvers to remove former President Donald Trump from several states’ GOP primary ballot are no different from when liberal activists successfully used the courts to change election laws during the COVID pandemic before the 2020 presidential campaign.

Reps. Byron Donalds of Florida and Jerry Carl of Alabama, during separate appearances on the Fox News Channel, accused Democrats and their allies supporting Mr. Trump’s removal from at least a dozen states’ primary ballots of attempting to throw the 2024 campaign cycle into chaos.

“This is what happened before the 2020 election. They were in court everywhere trying to get things like these drop boxes in every municipality in the country, saying that it was too hard to vote because the COVID 19,” Mr. Donalds said.

Reports that a spy balloon tapped into a U.S. internet provider to communicate with China while traversing the continent before being shot down is further proof how the U.S. has been compromised by the Chinese Communist Party, Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., told Newsmax on Friday.

"This was a complete failure of our intelligence agencies, and our military," Burchett told "Carl Higbie FRONTLINE." "They just thumbed their nose — and it's not our military fighting men and women. It's those sitting behind those desks at the Pentagon that we continuously flood with more and more dollars, and they keep producing these woke [policies].

"The Chinese just laugh at us over this stuff. ... This was hardly even mentioned when [President Joe] Biden went and talked to [Chinese President] Xi Jinping [in November in San Francisco]. I feel like we've been compromised. There's no other reason for this to be that way. We are being ruled by anarchists."

Burchett added incidents like this should be a warning for Republican voters who might have stayed at home instead of voting in 2020 not to do the same again in 2024.

An Oct. 17 New York Times headline blared: "Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinian Officials Say." One problem: It wasn't true.

And it wasn't even a single inaccuracy. Not only was an Israeli military strike not responsible for the explosion in question — the rockets, it turned out, had been launched by the terror group Palestinian Islamic Jihad — but the blast didn't hit the hospital — only the parking lot — and the death toll was far lower than initially reported.

Thursday was a busy day in 14th Amendment Trump decisions.

We reported how Colorado issued a statement saying former President Donald Trump would remain on the ballot despite the decision of the Colorado Supreme Court because they had also stayed their decision pending appeal to the Supreme Court and SCOTUS weighing in, one way or the other. The Colorado GOP filed an appeal, and the Trump team is expected to file one as well. The Colorado Secretary of State was not a happy camper that she had to make such a statement, and had a meltdown post on X.

Then Maine decided to boot Trump off their ballot as well, also by citing the 14th Amendment, but it was an even worse decision than the one in Colorado because it wasn't even a court decision. This was just a decision by the Democratic Secretary of State, who had previously made anti-Trump statements. Trump had objected to the Secretary of State making the decision, alleging she was biased.

As we reported, the Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows made the decision to boot former President Donald Trump off the ballot on the basis of the 14th Amendment for insurrection, despite him never being convicted or even charged with insurrection. Not to mention that the 14th Amendment doesn't apply to presidents and the facts don't support the claim of insurrection in any event. Her decision was even worse than the decision in Colorado, her decision wasn't even a court decision. You can read her decision here.

Bellows hit the airwaves to defend her decision. She even had the temerity to brag about voter participation as she disenfranchised millions with her decision. But as with the Colorado decision, she suspended her decision pending court review and the Trump team said they would be taking it to court.

CNN’s Dana Bash was blunt in her assessment of what a recent survey showed about the president's approval ratings on a number of key issues.

The Monmouth University Poll shows Biden’s overall approval rating at 34 percent, the lowest it’s been in Monmouth’s surveys since he took office. But his marks on immigration and inflation are even worse—26 percent and 28 percent, respectively. On climate change he had a 38 percent approval rating, while 42 percent approved of both his handling of jobs and infrastructure.

“You look at the issues and how he fairs: infrastructure, jobs, climate change, inflation, immigration — he is now [at] 26 percent. That is not good,” Bash said.

CNN political analyst Seung Min Kim agreed: “It’s not good at all.”

At the end of the year, we are on the razor's edge of many things that soon may blow up.

Americans are far beyond President Joe Biden's serial untruths of some eight years that he never discussed Hunter Biden's various get-rich-quick schemes.

All were predicated on the perception of foreign interests purchasing from the Biden family the influence of then-senator, vice president, and possibly soon-to-be President Joe Biden.

The Bidens now risk exposure to criminal charges of multimillion-dollar tax fraud, perjury, influence selling, and bribery as congressional committees and a special prosecutor unravel years of tangled-up quid pro quos.

A newly indicted Hunter remains reckless and unpredictable. He publicly blames his mounting legal problems on everyone and everything other than his selfish excesses.

Hunter deliberately involves his family and may even bring down his own father. His tax lawyers have previously threatened to call President Biden to testify on his behalf under oath.

He continues to court public scandal by hawking amateurish "representational" paintings to the quid-pro-quo wealthy and wannabes wishing for clout with the White House.

His laptop messages reveal a prodigal son angry that his bagman services were never fully appreciated by his familial beneficiaries.

Hunter's wayward laptop is a felonious trove of drug-addled, illicit Petronian excess and sex, inter-spliced with his self-incriminating family communications on the distributions of pay-for-play payoffs.

Hunter's business aides will be called back to elaborate on their already incriminating testimonies.

Authorities in France are mobilizing tens of thousands of police officers and gendarmes as citizens prepare to ring in 2024 after officials warned of a "very high" terror threat on New Year's Eve.

"I’ve requested a very strong mobilization of police forces and the gendarmerie under the context of a very high terrorist threat, of course due to what’s happening in Israel and Palestine," said Gérard Darmanin, the French interior minister, according to The Telegraph.

The deployment includes 90,000 police officers and gendarmes along with "5,000 soldiers from Operation Sentinel, a military operation aimed at protecting the French from terror threats" plus "35,000 firefighters."

French officials said they will have 6,000 officers on patrol in Paris where as many as 1.5 million people are set to attend this year's countdown on the Champs-Elysées.

On December 13, First Son Hunter Biden made quite the show of failing to honor a congressional subpoena, as he was supposed to provide closed-door testimony for the House Oversight Committee. Instead, he gave a press conference on the Senate side of the Capitol and went on his way. The committee's chairman, James Comer (R-KY), along with House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), have vowed to hold Hunter accountable. This all relates to his father, too.

"In light of an official statement from the White House that President Biden was aware in advance that his son, Hunter Biden, would knowingly defy two congressional subpoenas, we are compelled to examine as part of our impeachment inquiry whether the President engaged in a conspiracy to obstruct a proceeding of Congress," Comer and Jordan mentioned in a Wednesday letter to White House Counsel Edward Siskel.

The letter later goes on to later mention that "the fact that the President had advanced awareness that Mr. Biden would defy the Committees’ subpoenas raises a troubling new question that we must examine: whether the President corruptly sought to influence or obstruct the Committees’ proceeding by preventing, discouraging, or dissuading his son from complying with the Committees’ subpoenas." As the chairmen note, "[s]uch conduct could constitute an impeachable offense." The letter cites 18 U.S.C. § 1505.

Donald Trump's name will remain on the Colorado GOP primary ballot "unless the U.S. Supreme Court declines to take the case or otherwise affirms the Colorado Supreme Court ruling," says Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold.

The Colorado Republican Party on Thursday asked the U.S. high court to take up Trump's 14th Amendment issue after the state Supreme Court ruled that the former president was disqualified from the ballot earlier this month.

"For the first time in American history, a former President has been disqualified from the ballot, a political party has been denied the opportunity to put forward the presidential candidate of its choice, and the voters have been denied the ability to choose their Chief Executive through the electoral process," says the party's writ of certiorari, a petition to the high court asking it to review the case.

Alphabet's Google has agreed to settle a lawsuit claiming it secretly tracked the internet use of millions of people who thought they were doing their browsing privately.

U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers in Oakland, California, put a scheduled Feb. 5, 2024 trial in the proposed class action on hold Thursday, after lawyers for Google and for consumers said they had reached a preliminary settlement.

The lawsuit had sought at least $5 billion. Settlement terms were not disclosed, but the lawyers said they have agreed to a binding term sheet through mediation, and expected to present a formal settlement for court approval by Feb. 24, 2024.

Neither Google nor lawyers for the plaintiff consumers immediately responded to requests for comment.

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Tuesday with a message about his ongoing election case in Washington, D.C.: "I am entitled to IMMUNITY."

"I wasn't campaigning, the Election was over," Trump wrote. "I was doing my duty as President to expose and further investigate a Rigged and Stolen Election. It was my obligation to do so, and the proof found is voluminous and irrefutable.
