Biden Faces Major Backlash in South Florida Over FARC Terrorist Debacle

The Biden administration is under fire from officials of both parties for removing the Colombian militant group FARC from the list of terrorist organizations. The group has been linked to bombings, killings, and kidnappings of innocent civilians in the South American country.
Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, a Democrat, blasted the Biden administration on Twitter, saying: “I urge the admin & State Dept. to reject this move — the FARC is a dangerous terrorist group that caused deep pain for so many. We're at a pivotal inflection point in Latin America & should double down to reject the extremist communist agenda that destroyed nations like Venezuela.”
Meanwhile Colombia-born Florida state Sen. Annette Taddeo, also a Democrat, tweeted: “When I was 17 years old, I was forced to flee Colombia, the only country I ever knew because of the Marxist terrorist organization, FARC, a group of militias who kidnapped my father who was a WWII American fighter pilot.”
