The Supreme Court and the nation's judiciary "bear a lot of responsibility for the chaos that ensued" in the 2020 election through their failure to hear evidence of election irregularities and fraud, a CPAC panel of experts and commenters argued.

“It’s their job to get involved in the tough cases," Fox News contributor Deroy Murdock, one of the panelists, said, comparing the failure to a baseball umpire who fails to call a runner safe or out during the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 7 of the World Series, reports The Epoch Times.

ORLANDO, Florida — Former President Donald Trump said Sunday the MAGA movement he started four years ago is far from over and promised to continue to fight on behalf of his loyal followers.

Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Mr. Trump dismissed reports that he was flirting with creating a new political party, declaring it “fake news.”

“Our movement of hard-working American patriots is just getting started and in the end, we will win,” Mr. Trump said.

President Trump is the early leader among conservatives for the GOP’s 2024 presidential nomination, according to The Washington Times/CPAC poll released Sunday — but even if he’s not at the top of the ticket, conservatives said the Trump agenda must be continued.

Asked flatly whether they want to see Mr. Trump run again, 68% said “Yes,” making him the clear leader.

And when stacked up against a list of 20 other names in the straw poll, Mr. Trump was the pick of 55%, distantly followed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who likely enjoyed a favorite son advantage at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, being held in Orlando.

The Associated Press has a grammatical construction bone to pick with us, my fellow conservatives. And it’s not happy. That’s right, this “derisive” habit we have of incorrectly referring to the Democratic Party as the “Democrat Party” is not only just one more example of our “extreme partisanship,” it’s also “just another piece in a big bubbling kettle of animosities” we harbor as we attempt to make Democrats “sound like rodents.”

Get all that? I’ll wait while you read it again.

No, AP, we call it the “Democrat” Party because we view Democrats as anything but “democratic,” these days — but we’ll get to that later.

AP “journalist” Julie Carr Smthye’s What’s in an adjective? ‘Democrat Party’ label on the rise is as hilarious as it is whiny, as trots out example after example of “proof” of “conservatives seeking to define the opposition through demeaning language.”

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo insisted Saturday, during his address to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), that conservatives and the Trump administration, despite strong resistance, have "fought hard" on nearly every front and insisted the Trump administration "truly upended the status quo."

"In the last few months, we have been called clowns, deplorables, ignorant, rednecks," said Pompeo. "Some said I was the worst secretary of state of all time. Since I last saw you, the Chinese and Iranians don't think much of me either."

However, he said, "we have resisted enormous resistance to socialism and cancel culture. We have resisted seeing our liberties and freedoms swept away... We fought hard on nearly every front and we will always fight for it."

China is looming large in this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) agenda, where panels are featuring discussions on the dangers posed by the communist nation and the topic is coming up in several speakers' addresses.

"CPAC is largely a reflection of the success of the Trump America First agenda, and the Middle East, however serious radical Islam remains, that represents the neocon foreign policy that had been rejected by President Trump and the MAGA movement," according to Brian Kennedy, chairman of the Committee on the Present Danger: China, reports Politico.

This year's lineup is featuring six panels concerning China, with titles such as "China Subverts America," and speakers like Sen. Rick Scotti, R-Fla., insisted he would not allow "any more bad trade deals" that favor China over America's workers.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) rallied conservatives at CPAC on Friday. The congressman called for a renewed "patriotic nationalism" in the country equipped to take on both China and the political establishment. On the subject of the establishment, Gaetz took a swipe at Rep. Liz Cheney (RINO-WY).

"Speaking of people who ought to lose primaries, if Liz Cheney were on this stage today, she would get booed off of it. What does that say?" he asked.

Following cheers, Gaetz continued, "The leadership of our party is not found in Washington, D.C. You are the energy. We are America. That’s why they’re in the eight square miles of Washington D.C., and we’re here in the Sunshine State of Florida."

At the time, it could have been seen as a backtrack, a moment where Joe Biden spits in the faces of the progressive cohorts he desperately needed to win the 2020 election. During the first debate, he voiced his opposition to defunding the police. It was drowned out by then-President Trump’s overly aggressive attacking, so it fell by the wayside. Biden did walk a waffled line on defunding the police in 2020 but now firmly says he’s against it. Progressives might be shocked. They shouldn’t be. Yet, I forgot something; Biden is a swamp creature. He’ll find a way to repay his debts, and on defunding the police, he’s doing that through his nominees. No one really pays attention to civil rights division nominees for the Department of Justice or even those tapped to be associate attorney general, but this is where he's trying to make good on this progressive action item. It's a covert war indeed.

They want to take away your freedom of speech, take away your religious liberty, want to take away your right to bear arms and get you fired from your job. They want to get your banks to drop you. Britain. France. Germany. Holland. Canada. All are sending warships to the South China Sea in growing “pushback” against Beijing.

Britain’s defence ministry says a multinational task force centred on its new 65,000-ton aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth will arrive in South East Asia between April and June.

France sent one of its nuclear-powered attack submarines which passed through the South China Sea earlier this month. Now it’s sending the 21,000-ton amphibious assault ship FS Tonnere and a frigate through the disputed waters in coming weeks.

And last month, the Royal Canadian Navy frigate Winnipeg passed through the contested Taiwan Strait to emphasise a “free and open Indo-Pacific”.

For those who have never been to a CPAC, one of the highlights is being able to run into and interact with some of our nation’s elected representatives. I am sure you’ve seen Scott Hounsell’s elbow greeting with Senator Ted Cruz (R-Evangelist), and Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Fiery), and others have milled around the halls of the Hyatt Regency Orlando and warmly greeted people who approach.

But this particular interaction was inspiring, as well as deeply touching.

Freshman North Carolina Representative Madison Cawthorn (R-Authentic) was waiting at the elevators to be escorted to the CPAC main stage, when a young man in a wheelchair called out to him.

Ted Cruz to CPAC: 'Donald J. Trump Ain't Going Anywhere'

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said during his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference 2021 that former President Donald Trump “ain’t going anywhere,” even though that's what Democrats want.

"There are a whole lot of voices in Washington that want to just erase the last four years," Cruz said during his speech, — titled "Bill of Rights, Liberty, and Cancel Culture" — which drew a standing ovation.

He added, "They look at Donald J. Trump and they look at the millions and millions of people inspired, who went to battle fighting alongside President Trump and they're terrified and they want him to go away. Let me tell you this right now: Donald J. Trump ain't going anywhere."
