AP Issues New Guidance for Reporters to Cover Up Leftist Violence

Mobs of violent left-wing kooks have been roaming the streets of American cities for months terrorizing residents, murdering Trump supporters, beating people to a pulp, shooting police officers, and assaulting drivers in vehicles. But you wouldn't know any of this if you consumed news exclusively from the mainstream media because the mainstream media doesn't want you to know about it.

The Associated Press (AP) issues guidelines, closely adhered to by many journalists, dictating what words are politically correct at the time and what words to avoid. The AP issued new guidance on Wednesday telling journalists to avoid using the word "riot" when covering leftwing events and refrain from reporting on property destruction because, according to the AP, such reporting has been used in the past as a way to stigmatize protests against lynching and racial injustice. To the AP, it's not the job of journalists to report the news. It's the job of journalists to advance a left-wing narrative.

Fired FBI Director James Comey needs immediate medical attention. He suffers from either acute amnesia or debilitating dementia.

At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing Wednesday on the FBI's Trump-Russia "collusion" investigation and the bureau's egregious abuse of the surveillance process under Comey's reign, he claimed to know nothing about everything.

Like a broken record, Comey responded to questions with the same pat answers: "Not that I recall ... I don't know ... I don't remember ... I never knew ... that doesn't ring a bell."

But it was Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, who leveled the most searing assessment when he stated to Comey: "There are only two possibilities — either you were deliberately corrupt or woefully incompetent." Cruz paused and added: "I don't believe you're incompetent."

Cruz nailed it. Any reasonable person who examines the facts honestly can reach only one conclusion. James Comey is corrupt. His bout of amnesia and/or dementia is nothing but a cleverly contrived act to avoid taking responsibility for his malign acts.

Chris Wallace was always going to be a terrible choice as a moderator for any of the three presidential debates, let alone the first one, but good God, did he fulfill that destiny with flying colors.

We knew it back in July when Wallace attempted to fact-check President Trump on the accurate claim that former Vice President Joe Biden was on the record committing to defunding police departments. Biden is, in fact, on record committing to that, and yet, Wallace pretended we hadn't heard it with our own ears.

The Fox News anchor was supposed to show up and moderate a debate, with it having expressly been stated that he wouldn't operate as a fact-checker, and yet, that's all he did for at least the first hour of the debate. It got so bad that, at one point, he asked Trump not to interrupt his opponent (there were many fine interruptions on both sides), and when the president asked Wallace to make that same point to Biden, Wallace puffed up his chest to tell Trump that it was actually him doing more interrupting.

Even if you could prove that the president was the champion of interrupting every person on Earth, let's talk about what Biden did: He told the president of the United States during a nationally televised debate to "shut up," to "keep yapping," and he called Trump a "clown."

All of that actually happened, and not once did Wallace reprimand the former vice president. He might have perhaps even asked that Biden keep things civil, given that, you know, Biden's whole thing is "restoring the soul of America."

Who knew that restoring the country's soul worked hand in hand with calling the president a "clown" and telling him to his face to "shut up"?

Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Tuesday released a bombshell allegation that Hillary Clinton ordered “a campaign plan to stir up a scandal” by linking President Trump to Russia in 2016 — and that then-President Barack Obama knew about the possibility.

Ratcliffe disclosed the information in a letter published by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) just hours before Trump debates Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, who was vice president at the time.

Clinton’s alleged July 2016 plot would tar Trump by “tying him to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and the Russians’ hacking of the Democratic National Committee,” Ratcliffe wrote Graham, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Handwritten notes by then-CIA Director John Brennan, who now is a fiery anti-Trump commentator, say that Brennan briefed Obama on “alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services.”

Biden allegedly provided Strzok with the never-used Logan Act of 1799 as a rationale to keep open an investigation of Flynn that the FBI was prepared to close. The Logan Act bans ordinary citizens from conducting foreign diplomacy. It has never resulted in a conviction and is widely considered unconstitutional.

Flynn’s legal team alleges that a note apparently written by Strzok on Jan. 4, 2017, implicates Biden in selecting the Logan Act. “VP: ‘Logan Act’,” the note attributed to Strzok says.

President Trump and the Trump Organization very likely "took advantage of all of the legal deductions and exemptions that were available in the tax code," Vice President Mike Pence told "Special Report" Tuesday ahead of the first presidential debate in Cleveland.

"The American people know that when you create the kind of business President Donald Trump created, you literally pay tens of millions of dollars in state and local taxes, in payroll taxes when you create the kinds of jobs and prosperity that he created," Pence told host Bret Baier. "That speaks for itself."

The New York Times reported Sunday that Trump paid paid no income tax in 10 of the past 15 years and paid just $750 in federal taxes in 2016 and 2017.

Pence told Baier that the report "feels like the same old, same old ... These same issues and allegations came up in 2016" during the campaign.

Newly declassified documents from Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe show former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may have set up the 2016 Russia investigation into the Trump campaign. The information was released Tuesday afternoon in a letter written to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham.

“In late July 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians' hacking of the Democratic National Committee. The IC does not know the accuracy of this allegation or the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication,” the letter states. “According to his handwritten notes, former Central Intelligence Agency Director Brennan subsequently briefed President Obama and other senior national security officials on the intelligence, including the ‘alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on July 26, 2016 of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security services.’”

"On 07 September 2016, U.S. intelligence officials forwarded an investigative referral to FBI Director James Comey and Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok regarding ‘U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's approval of a plan concerning U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private mail server,’” the letter continues.

The information was released to the Committee after a request from Graham, who published the letter.

President Barack Obama was briefed in the summer of 2016 about an unverified Russian intelligence analysis that claimed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was then the Democratic presidential nominee, approved an effort to tie candidate Donald Trump to Russia’s hack of the Democratic National Committee, the nation's top spy chief revealed on Tuesday.

A one-page letter Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe sent to and released by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham said U.S. intelligence agencies obtained, in late July 2016, "insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S. Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and the Russians' hacking of the Democratic National Committee." But, Ratcliffe stressed, the intelligence community "does not know the accuracy of this allegation or the extent to which the Russian intelligence analysis may reflect exaggeration or fabrication.”

The release of this information, just hours before the first debate between Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden and one day before former FBI Director James Comey testifies before Graham's committee, was met with instant condemnation by Democrats in Congress and national security veterans.

"It's very disturbing to me that 35 days before an election, a director of national intelligence would release unverified Russian rumint," Senate Intelligence Committee Vice Chairman Mark Warner, a Virginia Democrat, told reporters.

Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson improved their already historic ratings during the third quarter of 2020.

Hannity, the eponymous host who is one of the president's biggest on-air supporters, finished the quarter averaging 4,454,000 viewers a night, with 775,000 in the key 25-to-54 age demographic that advertisers covet, according to Nielsen Media Research. His audience marked its highest-rated quarter in history in both viewerships.

Carlson, whose audience size was second largest only behind Hannity, averaged 4,351,000 viewers a night during the third quarter.

Both of the prime-time hosts' ratings were increases from the previous two quarters this year, which had been record-setting at the time.

"While many critics question the article’s accuracy, equally troubling is the prospect that a felony crime was committed by releasing the private tax return information of an individual — in this case the President’s," the Texas Republican said in a statement released on Monday night. "To ensure every American is protected against the illegal release of their tax returns for political reasons, I am calling for an investigation of the source and to prosecute if the law was broken."

Rep. Mike Kelly, another GOP member of the committee, echoed Brady's call, writing on Twitter, "The unethical, perhaps illegal, leaking of any American’s tax returns is a stunning breach of public trust. That doesn’t change because it happened to @realDonaldTrump. The joint political hit piece between the New York Times and Democrats just weeks before an election shows no wrong doing by @POTUS but leaves Americans wondering if their own private tax information can be weaponized against them for political gain. There must be an investigation into who turned over confidential tax records to the press to determine if the law was broken."
